On Feb. 26, Wolf Games returned to Santa Fe for their second annual game. The event brought together students from all over the school, due to the popularity of the tv show “Squid Games” and to support the recipient of this year’s Double Wolf Dare Week (DWDW), Infant Crisis Services (ICS).
Wolf Games was inspired by the Netflix original series Squid Games. Squid Games is a South Korean dystopian survival thriller drama that discovers the realities of what people will do for money.
The students who chose to participate got to play in a series of games for $5 per player, $3 for an extra life and $1 to watch.
At Wolf Games they played games such as Dalgona, Mingle, Musical chairs, Red light-Green light, along with three legged races and trivia questions about Santa Fe. three legged races and trivia questions about Santa Fe.
“My favorite game was the game where we stood in the middle and walked in a circle until the music stopped, and we had to run to a door with the amount of people the soldier said,” junior Eli Fina said.
One of the most challenging games was the three-legged race, where more people were eliminated.
“I got out in the three leg[ged] race,” said Fina. “Where my legs were tied with two other people and my teammate Max fell down, so we were all out.”
The winner of Wolf Games was ultimately sophomore Jayden Wallace.
All events from DWDW raised a total of $200,01160.
