This year’s Hall of Fame and Royalty assembly for Double Wolf Dare Week (DWDW) began with the philanthropy chairs senior Chloe Russ and junior Hannah Dihn, welcoming the audience to the event.

The hosts, seniors Jewel Giddings and Jake Schmidt, introduced the music producer and DJ Druski as the first round’s judge of the event. Druski was impersonated by Student Council (STUCO) member Jarell Hull, who made sure to judge the participants outfits and characterism, which concluded with the elimination of most of them and the qualification of 17 participants.Â
At the beginning of the second round, the hosts introduced the jury’s social studies teacher KC Williams, Government teacher Jacqueline Bessinger, English teachers Courtney Galvin and Brianna Broersma, Spanish teacher Haley Crane and the first recipient of DWDW, Hailey Cobble. These judges criticized the participants in the next three rounds of the competition.
The qualified participants were separated into three groups to compete in a “runway ready.” Group one consisted of the artists Charli XCX, 2 Hollis, Prince, XXXTENTACION, BlueFace, Eminem and BigXthaPlug. Group two had Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Sexyy Red, Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd. Group three was Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, Brent Faiyaz, Sabrina Carpenter and Billie Eilish.Â

Each group of artists was given five supplies each: wrapping paper, a wig, markers, colors and an item that they were able to receive from the audience such as a peter pan hat, golden purse and bottle of lotion. Then with a running time of five minutes, the groups had to create an outfit out of the supplies they were given, and one representative from each group had to model on stage with the outfit to present their “future fashion.” This competition concluded in the elimination of group one.
The third round was the “riff off,” in which the participants had to perform songs from their artist such as “God’s Plan” by Drake, “Congratulations” by Post Malone, “Not Like Us” by Kendrick lamar, “Love Somebody” by Morgan Wallen and “Creepin” by 21 Savage, Metro Boomin, and The Weeknd. Â
Further, the judges told the audience the qualities that they were looking for in participants.
“That they protect the pack,” Bessinger said.
Then the judges called out Kendrick Lamar, the Weeknd, Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, Brent Faiyaz, Sabrina Carpenter and Billie Eilish. Stepping forward, the participants were excited and then disappointed because they were disqualified.
The three final participants were senior Kolby Watkins as Drake, junior Samaria Kinyanjui as Sexyy Red and senior Jakobe Jackson as Party Next Door. Each performed a song from their artists. The songs performed were “Hotline bling,” “Break from Toronto” and “SkeeYee.”

Party Next Door was eliminated due to the audience’s reactions to Sexyy Red and Drake’s performances. To choose the winner, the audience had to donate money to their favorite finalist by the end of the school day.
On Wednesday afternoon, STUCO announced that Watkins raised the most money, making him the 2026 Hall of Fame winner.
“I chose Drake because who doesn’t love Drake, and he’s my favorite artist,” Watkins said. “I loved the way that I got people to donate to Infant Crisis Services just off my performance.”
Royalty
In between the Hall of Fame rounds, Hadley Williams and Ella Smith announced the royalty groups that had raised more than 500 dollars. Then they called out the 15 royalty groups, each group walking on stage wearing different colors of heels such as gold, pink or teal.Â
Tuesday’s assembly showed that creativity and community spirit can turn admiration into generosity. Through impersonating their favorite celebrities or selling royalty snacks, students proved that anyone can use their creativity to make a difference.
