Santa Fe’s wrestling team has experienced many ups and downs this year, but improvements can always be made.

North and Memorial are in the top five in the state so the “Three Dog Night” duels were expected to be tough. The duels were held on Jan. 11, and Santa Fe held their own against North and Memorial

“We are three in duels, till tonight. we are all getting better,” Coach Issac Henry said. “January is a tough month; there is a lot of wrestling, so we have a chance to get better.”

Practice makes perfect, and Santa Fe’s wrestling boys are ready to put in the effort. Be sure to keep an eye out for Colter Bufford, Brycen Diaz and Adley Bufford as the season progresses.

On Jan. 28, Santa Fe will travel to Chickasaw for a tournament that will begin at 8 a.m. The next duel will be held in Guthrie, on Feb. 3 at 6 p.m.
