Edmond Santa Fe High School is proud to announce that Senior Regan Van Stavern has been selected as a Gates Scholar and member of The Gates Scholarship Class of 2022.  

As one of 300 Scholars chosen from a pool of over 37,000 applicants from across the nation, Regan now belongs to an elite group of young leaders-all of whom represent the very pinnacle of academic achievement, service and commitment.

“I spent a lot of time working towards the scholarship itself because it’s such a huge scholarship and so it really means a lot to me”, Van Stavern said. “It has proven to me that I can accomplish bigger things than I thought I could.”

Regan plans to attend The University of Southern California and major in Mechanical Engineering. Her Gates Scholarship combined with her Presidential Scholarship from USC will fully fund her college education.
