Video Game Night a DWDW event

On Thursday, January 27, Student Council hosted a Video Game Night in the Freshman cafeteria. They offered games such as Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Minecraft and Just Dance.

They had TVs, consoles and signs for each game. There was a small entry fee of $5 for each tournament.

The tournaments were successful and everyone played well, Eddie Sermersheim, the winner of the Mario Kart 8 tournament and Malachi Grimes, won the minecraft tournament. Unfortunately, the Smash Bros tournament did not finish in time. The rest of the games were not competitive and people played purely for fun.

Judging by people’s laughter and the atmosphere in the entire room, Video Game Night was a hit.
