The Texas-Oklahoma Kiwanis Foundation is offering a “Sophomore of the Year” scholarship. The scholarship includes two application sections. The first section consists of the applicant’s full name, mailing address, city, state, zip code, grade level, signature from the student and guardian, guardian’s phone number, school district, high school, principal’s name, school phone number, and school address. The second section involves a series of questions, including a list of clubs and organizations in which you are involved and what they mean to you, how you have demonstrated leadership, how you have shown a desire to learn and share knowledge and experience with others. The last question is: “do you feel that teen community service is a good thing?” The application is due on or before March 6th to your counselor. Good luck!
