This year’s fall season is in full effect with temperatures starting to drop to the low 30´s and 40´s. Here are a few of the new and improved fashion trends of 2025, while still involving the classic staples of the fall.
Timberland boots– Timberland boots, also known as Timbs, come in many different colors like pink, black, brown, navy, grey, burgundy and green, with the most common color being tan. Because of their varying style, Timbs are perfect for both fall and winter. They´ve become more popular among the fashion world and have been paired with shorts, jeans and skirts.
Big fur boots– Big fur boots are currently a major trend within the fashion community. These boots are often worn with long sleeve body suits, shorts or big furry jackets. These boots have sparked much conversation as some people love them while others hate them.
Oversized sweaters with a skirt– This trend has been around for years, but has recently been altered to match the aesthetic of 2025. Most of the time, these oversized sweaters are worn with black mini skirts, but some people also pair them with jean skirts, long skirts; or skorts. Any pair of shoes will match with this outfit, but Adidas Sambas, Ugg boots and Heeled boots match the fall vibe.
Loafers– Loafers are one of the most common fall staples. Loafers pair well with button ups, dress pants, ties, and bomber jackets. Many brands sell them: Timberland, Steve Madden, Dr. Martens, Coach and many more.
Matching sets– Matching sets have been around for decades, but recently have regained their popularity. Whether it’s a long sleeve, short sleeve, or a jacket set, they’re popular and becoming a trend. Some of the most seen sets are Nike Tech, Ed Hardy sets and Aeropostale sets. Since most matching sets are sweatpants, they provide a good amount of warmth for those cold fall mornings.
Uggs– Uggs are a staple in fall fashion; they come back every year with a new shoe. In 2023, Ugg Tasmans gained popularity and are still often seen today. The Bailey Bow II are also a staple because of their comfortability along with the aesthetic of the bows. Bailey Bow and Tasmans are great shoes for the fall but for the winter, The Classic Clear Mini could be a better alternative as they have a clear covering that protects the fur inside of the boot.
