This years track season is well under way, with only two regular season meets left to go for varsity before Regionals and State. One of the standout stars so far this season for the boys team is senior Jalen Nero, who is currently ranked 2nd in the state in the 100m dash, and 4th in the 200m dash. He also runs on the 4×100 and 4×200 relays, which are both ranked in the top three in state. For the girls, Taylore Baker is one of the many breakout athletes this year. Taylore won the 100m hurdles at the COAC conference meet with a time of 15.91, and 3rd in the 300m hurdles running 49.22. She also runs on the 4×200 and 4×100 relays.

Athletes will be competing this Saturday, at Norman, followed by a varsity meet next week on Wednesday at Edmond Memorial to round out the regular season. Then Regionals will be held on May 8th in order to qualify for state. State will be held here at Santa Fe on May 15th, so come out and support your Wolves.
