Santa Fe’s Fine Arts department hosted its annual talent show, Debut, to students on Sept. 20 during sixth hour. This year’s theme was “Rock of Ages.”
The show opened with the Santa Fe mixed show choir, Finale, performing Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life.” Students cheered loudly as their peers performed.
The show choir spent months preparing for their performance in Debut. It takes a lot of cooperation for a large group of students to work together and make something beautiful.
“Show choir started working on prep for Debut the day school started,” senior Chayla Williams said. “My favorite part was making memories with people who are working towards the same goal as you.”
As the show continued, students danced and sang. The act ended with Zeph Greenwood performing “Promise” by Laufey.
