An allegory of an allegory. This cartoon depicts an artistic approach to how artificial intelligence (AI) affects the future using George Orwell’s allegory of the Russian Revolution and the subsequent rise of Stalinism. The animals with buckets over their heads represent society’s increasing dependence on AI; the pig represents Orwell’s Napoleon, which symbolizes a corrupt government. (Ellery Tran)
