BSU study group and Kwanzaa party

Alanna LaDeaux, Howler Staff Writer

The Black Student Union (BSU) will be having a Kwanzaa party and study group Thursday, December 16 at 4 p.m.

The BSU wants to give the students of Santa Fe support during finals week while also understanding the history of African heritage and black culture.

The BSU encourages all to bring flashcards, homework, study guides and anything that you would need to prepare yourself for finals. This will be a learning environment so be prepared to put in some work.

This celebratory event won’t be all study, there will also be a Kwanzaa party included. The BSU wants to make sure everyone knows and understands the history of African culture. There will be a discussion about this important holiday to African heritage.

The BSU knows that in order to properly study you must fuel the brain so there will be food and snacks provided at no cost.

This event is open to all, you do not have to be a member of the BSU to come.
