Santa Fe’s very own Jazz Band won second place at the state competition on May 5.. The Jazz Band consisted of marching band members that choose to dedicate their seventh hour to rehearsing, and their diligent practice paid off, securing them second place at State

“Jazz music is really inspirational to me,” said Zach McNaught, a sophomore in Jazz Band. “I love to get to play my instrument every day; it’s my favorite part of the day, honestly.”
