Thanksgiving is a time to gather together and reflect on the meaningful moments of life. This year, we asked our staff to share what they are thankful for.
Cay: I am thankful for my family, friends, music, donuts and coffee. My family and friends have always been my greatest support system, and knowing that they will always be there for me brings me so much joy. Donuts and coffee help me push through the tough days. And music, I can’t imagine the person I would be without it.
Tristan: I am thankful for my moms, my sister, my cats and all of my friends. They are always there for me when I need it. I am also very thankful for music; music is a big part of my life and it’s something that is very important to me.
Lila: I am thankful for all the new friends I have made this year and my family. They have 100% always supported me through every decision I’ve made. I am also thankful for the opportunities given to me this year and all the activities I get to participate in through Santa Fe.
Ava: I am thankful for my parents who are there for me through thick and thin and my best friends for telling me what I need to hear and not what I want to hear. I’m also thankful for food because food makes me happy and energized for everything.
Eva: I am thankful for everyone here at Santa Fe. I know the holidays can be one of the most challenging times for some people and I want whoever is reading this to know that someone is thinking about you this season. Whether you have someone to spend this time with or not I am thankful for your safety and wellbeing. Happy Thanksgiving and God bless you!
Emmie: I am thankful for my mother who took over the role of being both of my parents. From listening to me talk all day long to having mother daughter dates with me spending all her money. I am also thankful for my best friend. We facetime every day and she’s the only one who gets my jokes. And I am thankful for how incredibly funny I am also because you need to love your life. If you dont crack yourself up you aren’t doing it right.
Eden: I am thankful for my family, especially my mom who has helped me through every aspect of life, friends, and everyone that God has brought into my life. Also for God and for him giving me the strength and happiness for everyday I live.
Mrs. Reichert: I am thankful for my family, my home, coffee, my robot vacuum, being at Santa Fe and being part of the Howler staff.
