After a rough start to the season, the Wolves are looking to bounce back next week against the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs.

The start of the year has been challenging for Santa Fe football. Week one was a heartbreaker where Santa Fe lost 10 to 13 against the number one ranked Jenks Trojans. In week two, the Wolves traveled to Choctaw High School to take on the Yellow Jackets and lost 20 to 37. In week three, the Wolves went out to Norman North and took another loss 20 to 28.

“We’re just focused on getting better and staying healthy,” said head football coach Kyle White. “We’ve been in this situation before we just gotta work hard.’’

This isn’t the first time the Wolves have been in this situation. In the past three seasons, the wolves started out 0-2, and then have made a run to the playoffs.

“We’re just trying to stay healthy and stay in good shape for next week,” said Junior wide receiver Sam Trant.

The Wolves are en route for redemption next week at Edmond Memorial high school. Tickets will be sold at the gate for $8 or can be purchased from the Santa Fe Athletics website for $5 plus processing fees.
