Happy retirement Mrs. Hood
May 18, 2022
Linda Hood is retiring after 32 years of amazing Academic Counseling.
Hood spent a combined six years teaching 8th grade at both Sequoyah Middle School and Summit Middle School. She then spent the rest of her 26-year career at Santa Fe high school counseling grades 10-12.
“Santa Fe High School is a special place for me and my family,” Hood said. “Our three kids graduated from here with many fond memories and great preparation for college and beyond.”
After retirement Hood is planning on spending her retirement years gardening, reading, spending time with friends and her granddaughter.
Santa Fe will not be the same without her; she has done so much for this school and the people in it.
¨I have also been fortunate to work with outstanding educators, students and families and have witnessed such positive growth and amazing accomplishments.¨ Hood Said. ¨Our Santa Fe family will forever have a significant place in my heart.¨
On May 18 a teacher and staff retirement party will be held in the main cafeteria at 3:30 pm. All staff members are welcome to join the celebration in saying goodbye to our incredible teachers.
