Congratulations to our outstanding seniors

On Apr. 26, in Santa Fe’s Auditorium, Santa Fe senior students received awards for their academic achievements, as well as the announcement of the 2022 Mr. and Miss Santa Fe.

Mr. Hayes, accompanied by a multitude of Santa Fe’s faculty, congratulated students on their achievements.

“I’m so proud of what the class of 2022 has done for this school.” Hayes said “I hope for nothing more than the success of these kids,”

Senior students received an award if they showed academic excellence or charismatic leadership in the classroom. Students received several awards including: academic awards given by teachers, Mr. and Ms.Santa Fe nominations, and additional scholarships.

Miss Santa Fe was awarded to Claire Hall, and Mr. Santa Fe was given to David Dimandja.

Senior, Jaclyn Fan, was awarded a shocking total of seven awards, three of those being externally acquired, one of the scholarships was the Coca-Cola scholarship which was worth $20,000, and two other scholarships that amounted to a total of $26,000 in scholarships.

This year’s seniors have endured much during their four years of high school, but the class of 2022’s future is looking nothing short of bright.
