On Friday, February 18, a team of juniors and seniors faced off against each other in this year’s Basketball Bash to raise funds for Double Wolf Dare Week.

Each quarter was six minutes and each quarter the teams rotated players in and out

Seniors started the game off strong. They scored a three-pointer with 3:33 left on the clock in the 1st quarter. The Juniors responded with a three of their own, and the seniors scored six more points. This gave the seniors a nine-six lead at the end of the first quarter.

The juniors started the second quarter off with a two-pointer, but that was their only score that quarter. The seniors scored six more points and left the scoreboard at 15-8.

Both teams really brought their all during the second half. In the third quarter, the juniors scored 12 points, including one three-pointer. The seniors scored eight, which brought the game to 23-20.

In the fourth quarter, the juniors scored two points early on. The seniors picked up a couple of free throws and a three-pointer, but it just wasn’t enough. In the end, the junior team put up 23 points to the seniors’ seven. The juniors walked away with the win, and the final score was 43-30.
