Wolves ready to take state

The Santa Fe cheer team will compete for the state title in the OSSAA state competition this Saturday, September 25 at 5:50PM at Union High School in Tulsa.

The Wolves cheer team placed 3rd in Large Co-Ed regional competition and are hungry for the title. The title, however, doesn’t come without a price.

“The [team] has been working so hard, It’s been a lot. There’s been some injuries during practice that they’ve had to overcome,” Megan Molinsky, assistant coach, said. “They’ve been putting 100% out there, they’re going to do a good job.”

Santa Fe faces tough competition including 6A schools such as Westmoore, Broken Arrow and Owasso, bringing their A-game.

“It’s pretty much up to us to just go out there and do our best and leave everything on the mat,” Coach Molinsky said.
