Mike Morton: Coaching on and off the field

Santa Fe teacher and coach, Mike Morton recently received the honor of girls golf coach of the year for 2020-2021. Morton is the head girls golf and assistant girls basketball coach. In addition to coaching, he is the Apex coordinator as well as the former adviser of the school newspaper, the Ruff Draft. Morton’s coaching career has spanned 23 years with 13 at Santa Fe. This year, his responsibilities evolved to also become the coordinator for the Virtual Edmond program at Santa Fe. In this role, helps organize schedules, answer technical questions about software, and work with students and parents about being successful students from home. Congratulations to coach Morton on his accomplishments not only on the green but also in promoting academic success!
