Oklahoma City Ballet’s Nutcracker 50th Anniversary

All will be merry and bright as Oklahoma City’s favorite holiday production, “The Nutcracker,” fills the Civic Center in a warm glow this December. Chaikovsky’s familiar score and Artistic Director Robert Mills’ delightful staging comes together as Clara and the Nutcracker Prince’s journey to adventurous places beyond anyone’s wildest dreams.

Clara’s role is one of the most important in the play, followed by roles like the Sugar Plum Fairy, Cavalier, Marie, and the Nutcracker.

The play takes place from Sunday, Dec. 12th through Sunday, Dec. 19th. The performance is two hours long with an intermission of 20 minutes. Tickets range from $30 – $90 depending on seating.

Last year due to Covid the ballet performed a ¨short-and-sweet¨ version of  “The Nutcracker” leaving the audience wanting more, this year an Oklahoma City favorite now in its 50th year comes back with the full performance. This joyous production awaits your holiday season.
