Former Santa Fe student Private Juliette Angell graduated from the United States Marine Corps Boot Camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot on Oct. 1, 2021.

After Juliette graduated high school, she reported to Camp LeJeune for 21 days of Military Combat Training. While in recruit training, she achieved the distinction of Expert Rifleman. Additionally, she was named a squad leader in a group of 98 other Marines.

One of Juliette’s former teachers remembers her contributions to Santa Fe and the 2021 graduating class.

“I think she’s in for a lifetime of achievements and awards, she’s a person who has a lot of potential,” said Mr.Williams, former teacher of Angell. “If you ask the other students in the class, I think they would say she was a very kind and personal person.”

Private Angell will now report to Military Occupation Specialty School to be trained as an Embarkation Specialist.
